Mary Drudik is the Environmental Health Educator for the Loup Basin Public Health Department.  She received her certificate in Practical Nursing from Platte Community College-Grand Island, NE. She is a Certified Tobacco Cessation Specialist. She has also completed the Disease Investigation and Surveillance course provided by the CDC.  Mary has been with the health department since 2006. Her background prior to coming to LBPHD was acute care nursing at Avera St. Anthonys Hospital in O'Neill, NE, and working with North Central District Health Department in O'Neill as a Health Educator and Tobacco Cessation/ Prevention Educator.

Currently, Mary is working with businesses on developing wellness policies, educating businesses on the smoking ban, and addressing all environmental concerns and issues. Mary specializes in tobacco education, cessation, and policy development working with communities, business and school age children.  She has partnered with regional and state agencies and presented her programs on the state and national level.
