The New Year is a great time to make resolutions to quit using tobacco. Some can quit on their own, but many others are more successful when they get help. Fortunately, there are two free programs to help chewers quit:
Quit Chew Program for chewers 18 and over. This program tests the effectiveness of telephone counseling and web-based services. Visit MyLastDip.com to learn more about these programs or to enroll. These programs are supported by grants from the National Cancer Institute. Everyone who is eligible for and participates in the research part of these programs will receive a small sum of money for completing surveys. |
